Attica, Ind. - Vivian O. Crane, 63, of Williamsport, Ind., Route 1, died at 5 p.m. yesterday (Wednesday, March 1, 1967) at the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. he had been in failing health for the past six months. He was born May 18, 1903, in Pine Village, the son of Herbert and Cora Mills Crane. He was married in 1922 to Irene Julian, who survives. Other survivors are five sons, Robert of West Lebanon, Billie of Lafayette, Daniel of Danville, Ill., Ronald of Charleston, West Virginia, and Lloyd of Dayton, Ind.; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, a brother and a son. He was a member of the Pine Village Christian Church and a graduate of Pine Village schools. He operated a store in Carbondale for 18 years and the Cranes Texaco Service Station since 1963. Friends may call at the Roemer Funeral Chapel after 3 p.m. Friday. Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the chapel with the Rev. Eugene Polf officiating. Burial will be in the Pine Village Cemetery.
